Well some idiot young courier misjudged the angle she needed to pull out of a parking space in her LWB Mercedes Sprinter and put a 13" long by 9" high scuff along the rear passenger side of my bumper. Exchanged insurance details (she did knock on all the doors on the street to find out who owned the car she hit). Her father came round later to see if we’d get the repair done without involving the insurance companies. I said I’ll be informing my insurance regardless. So at 9am in the morning we’ve to take the car to the bodyshop to get an estimate. I’m hoping it’s mostly just paint transfer, I’ll see it better when I finish work in the morning.
Bloody annoying as Piglet is five and a half months old.

It was good of her to go up and down the street knocking on all the doors. Her dad wants to meet us at the bodyshop and hopefully talk them into letting him settle the bill without his daughter’s insurance getting involved.

What I was hoping was just paint transfer, isn’t. The rubbing of car on car has blistered a dozen small finger nail size chunks of paint off and has even scuffed the tail light in a few places. Doh.
The white is from the van and the black is the plastic bumper where the paint has blistered off.
